What can be more satisfying than helping someone in need?
Many of our riders who depend on South Lane Wheels are living on extremely minimal incomes, barely enough to live on with today’s high costs for food, medicine and transportation. But still, these people need to get to the grocery to purchase food and to doctor appointments for medical services and life saving procedures.
Even those of low incomes have the basic right
to participate in every day life.
Many of our clients subsist on less than $8,000 per year. You can help take the pressure off of these deserving people and allow them transport to meet their needs. Without your help, they are destined to a life of isolation and loneliness.
You can provide subsidized transportation for as little as $25.
Please take a moment to write a check to South Lane Wheels for $25 or more and tell us your donation is for the Fair Fare program. We track these funds separately to assure you that all of your donation is used to provide subsidized transportation services to those who need it the most.
enter South Lane Wheels as the group you want to support and follow the simple steps to registar. Unfortunately your Safeway Club Card is not eligible to support SLW. Purchases made with registered credit/debit cards at participating merchants in store or online will donate a percentage of your purchase to SLW. It's so easy, click on the link and registrar today and continue shopping as you normally would. You do not need to do anything else, there are no special cards to use, no need to let the cashier know to do anything different, it's all tracked for you. And the registration for escrip is on a secure site and they guarantee your personal information will not be stolen or sold.
